Dr Sarah Jenkins

Sarah qualified in dentistry from Cardiff in 2005. Her career in maxillofacial and oral surgery started accidentally after shadowing a friend working in a maxillofacial unit in South Wales and was hooked. She has been a maxillofacial Speciality doctor since 2011, and has also worked in primary care in oral surgery practices since 2015. She became a specialist in oral surgery on the GDC register in 2018. She loves the mix of training and practicing, and the hands on skills that oral surgery involves. With a passion for teaching, Sarah is actively involved in the education and development of clinicians both in clinical practice and the hospital settings. Outside of oral surgery Sarah is a creaky old competitive gymnast, loves the outdoor world, and before a toddler stole all her free time she did lots of adventurous climbing trips.
